Central Institute of Educational Technology

The Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET), a constituent unit of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), was established to promote the use of educational technology in improving the quality of school education in India. CIET focuses on the development and dissemination of innovative digital learning materials, including audio-visual content, e-resources, and interactive modules, to make education more engaging and accessible. The institute also conducts research and training programmes in the areas of educational media, ICT integration, and digital pedagogy for teachers and educators. Through platforms like PM eVIDYA, DIKSHA, and SWAYAM PRABHA, CIET plays a leading role in implementing the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020) for digital and inclusive education. PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education

The Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE) is an apex research and development organization in the field of vocational education. It is a constituent unit of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), established in 1993 by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. The Institute has a picturesque 38-acre campus at Shyamla Hills in Bhopal. It comprises six academic disciplines, namely Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Business and Commerce, Engineering and Technology, Health and Paramedical Science, Home Science and Hospitality Management and Humanities, Science, Education and Research with 05 Centres.

(A constituent unit of National Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi)

The North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE) stands amidst the natural grandeur in Umiam village which is about 20 kms away from Shillong city. The North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE) is a constituent unit of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi. NERIE was set up at Shillong in 1995 to cater to the educational needs of the North Eastern states, viz., Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. But it became functional from 22nd march, 1996 as formal handing over and taking over of charge from the field offices took place on this day.
